Auroras and Moonrise – Prince George BC
It’s been some time since I’ve had a chance to go out and photograph the night sky, so it was pretty exciting to see that we had some clear nights coming up. Fall is one of my favourite times of year, since the skies are getting darker but it’s still warm enough to be out taking night photos. I headed out north of town expecting to get some good star photos, but wasn’t expecting the auroras. But what a fantastic night it was! I stayed out taking photos until the moon came up and the fog got too thick. Here are some of my favourite photos from my night out watching the auroras dance above the lake, and my first time-lapse video.
